Etimoloji
Inherited from Ottoman Turkish چوزمك (çözmek, “to untie, to unfasten, to unbend”) from Proto-Turkic *çöz- (“to pull and stretch”), morphologically çöz- + -el- + -ti. Derived through false analogy to çökmek into çökelmek into çökelti; however "çözelmek" does not exist as a separate verb.
