Etimoloji
From צָֽפְנַת פַּעְנֵחַ (Ṣɔp̄ənaṯ Paʔnéaḥ, “Zaphnath-Paaneah”), the Egyptian name given by Pharaoh unto Joseph in Genesis 41:45. The traditional, conjectural Jewish interpretation of the name is “elucidator of the hidden things”, informed by the coincident Hebrew root צ־פ־ן (ṣ-p-n), relating to concealment. The actual Egyptian meaning of the name is debated.
