Etimoloji
From saín (“lard”) + -ete (diminutive suffix). Originally a morsel of fat, marrow, etc. given to a bird of prey as a reward. From there it acquired the meaning of a tasty snack or condiment and, by metaphorical extension, a short "tasty" piece of theatre.
