Etimoloji

From Arabic دَار الصِّنَاعَة (dār aṣ-ṣināʕa, “industry house, manufacturing shop”), from دَار (dār) + صِنَاعَة (ṣināʕa). The form could be due to formal assimilation to words with -ale, with reanalysis of the initial d as d' (“of”). Compare darsena.
