Musa dedi ki: "Rabbim! Ben onlardan birini öldürmüştüm, beni öldürmelerinden korkuyorum."He said: "O Lord, I have killed a man of theirs, and fear they would kill me.
Muhakkak ki zalimler, kurtuluşa eremezler."But surely the wicked will not prosper."
Peki daha önce Musa'ya verileni de inkâr etmemişler miydi?Did they not disbelieve before in what was given to Moses?
Halbuki Rabbinden bir yardım gelecek olsa, mutlaka, "Doğrusu biz de sizinle beraberdik" derler.And if help comes to them from your Lord, they say: "We were with you."
Sana vahyedilen Kitabı oku ve namazı kıl. Muhakkak ki namaz hayasızlıktan ve kötülükten alıkoyar.Recite what has been revealed to you of this Book, and be constant in devotion.
"Ona Rabbinden (başkaca) mucize indirilmeli değil miydi?" derler.For they say: "How Is it no signs were sent down to him from his Lord?"
Fakat yine de, hiç farkına varmadıkları bir sırada o kendilerine mutlaka gelecektir.It will come upon them all too suddenly, and they will be caught unawares.
Yoksa biz onlara bir delil indirmişiz de O'na ortak koşmalarını o mu söylüyor?Have We sent down a charter to them which mentions what they associate with Him?
Şüphe yok ki O, mutlaka ölüleri diriltir.He is verily the one who will raise the dead.
Gerçekten Allah, hiçbir şeye muhtaç değildir, daima övülmeye lâyıktır.Verily He is all-sufficient, worthy of praise.
Yoksa onu (Muhammed) uydurdu mu diyorlar?Or do they say he has fabricated it?
Öyle ya iman eden kimse, fâsık olan gibi olur mu?Is one who is a believer like one who is a transgressor?
Muhakkak ki Allah ne yaparsanız haberdardır.Verily God is all-knowing and all-wise.
Şu muhakkak ki, Allah kâfirleri lânetlemiş ve onlara çılgın bir ateş hazırlamıştır.Verily God has cursed the infidels, and prepared a blazing fire for them.
De ki: "Hayır, öyle değil, gaybı bilen Rabbim hakkı için kıyamet size mutlaka gelecektir.Say: "Why not? By my Lord, the knower of the unknown, it will certainly come for you.
Ey insanlar! Haberiniz olsun ki, Allah'ın vaadi muhakkak haktır.O you people, the promise of God is true.
Ey insanlar! Siz Allah'a muhtaçsınız.O men, it is you who stand in need of God.
Muhakkak ki biz seni hak ile hem bir müjdeci, hem bir uyarıcı olarak gönderdik.We have sent you with the truth, to give glad tidings and to warn.
Ey Muhammed! Hikmetli Kur'ân'a andolsun ki, sen risâlet görevi ile gönderilen peygamberlerdensin.I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, --
Yazıklar olsun o kullara ki, kendilerine glen her bir peygamberle mutlaka alay ediyorlardı.Alas for men! No apostle ever came to them but they made fun of him.
Ve kendilerine Rablerinin âyetlerinden herhangi bir âyet geldiği zaman mutlaka ondan yüz çevirirler.None of the signs of their Lord ever comes to them but they turn away from it.
Ya o zaman düşünmüyor muydunuz?Why did you not then understand?
Bir mucize gördükleri zaman da eğlenceye alıyorlar.When they see a sign, they laugh at it,

Mutlaka onlar, ondan yiyecekler de karınlarını bundan dolduracaklardır.They will eat and fill their bellies with it,
Andolsun ki biz Musa ile Harun'a da nimetler verdik.We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron,
Selam olsun, Musa ile Harun'a.Peace be on Moses and Aaron.
Fakat onlar, onu yalanladılar. Bu yüzden onlar mutlaka (cehennemde) hazır bulundurulacaklardır.They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment,
Bu, gerçekten arzu edilen bir murad!"There is surely some motive behind it.
"Biz bunu başka bir dinde işitmedik, bu mutlaka bir uydurmadır."We never heard of it in the former faith. It is surely a fabrication.
İşte bu, bizim rızkımız; muhakkak ki ona hiç tükenmek yoktur.This is surely Our provision never-ending.
Şüphesiz ki bu haktır. Ateş ehlinin birbiriyle tartışması muhakkak olacaktır.This contending of the inmates of Hell will surely be real.
Ey Muhammed! De ki: "Küfrünle biraz zevk et, çünkü sen, o ateşliklerdensin."Say: "Take advantage of your denying for a while: You will be among the inmates of Hell."
De ki: "Hiç bilenlerle bilmeyenler bir olur mu?"Say: "Can those who know, and those who do not know, be equal?
"Öyle ise hilenizi kurun; sonra sıra halinde gelin! Muhakkak ki bugün, üstün gelen kazanmıştır."Wherefore devise your stratagem, and then come in a row; and prospered to-day is he who overcometh.
Bunun üzerine sihirbazlar secdeye kapandılar; "Harun'un ve Musa'nın Rabbine iman ettik" dediler.Then the magicians were cast down prostrate; they said: we believe in the Lord of Musa and Harun.
Bunu tanrılarımıza kim yaptı? Muhakkak o, zalimlerden biridir, dediler.They said: who hath wrought this to our gods? verily he is of the wrong-doers.
Âlemlere uyarıcı olsun diye kulu Muhammed'e Furkan'ı indiren, Allah, yüceler yücesidir.Blest be He who hath revealed the Criterion unto His bondman thathe may be unto the worlds a warner.
Musa korka korka, (etrafı) gözetleyerek oradan çıktı.So he went forth from thence fearing, looking abcut.
Musa, Medyen suyuna varınca, orada (hayvanlarını) sulayan bir çok insan buldu.And when he arrived at the water of Madyan, he found there a community of the people watering.
Bunun üzerine Musa, onların yerine (davarlarını) sulayıverdi.Then he watered their flocks for the twain.
Elbette Allah, doğruları ortaya çıkaracak, yalancıları da mutlaka ortaya koyacaktır.So Allah will surely know those who are true and He will surely know the liars.
Andolsun ki, Musa onlara apaçık deliller getirmişti de onlar yeryüzünde büyüklük taslamışlardı.And assuredly Musa came unto them with the evidences, yet they were stiff-necked in the land.

Ondan önce de bir rahmet ve rehber olarak Musa'nın kitabı vardır.And before it there hath been the Book of Musa, a guide and a mercy.
Yahut "Onu kendisi uydurdu!" mu diyorlar? Hayır, onlar iman etmezler.Or say they: he hath fabricated it: aye they will not believe.
Baksana, İsrail oğullarının Musa'dan sonra ileri gelenlerine!Bethinkest thou not of the chiefs of the Children of Isra'il, after Musa?
Muhakkak ki Allah, hiç sözünden caymaz.Verily Allah faileth not the tryst.
Hayır Senin elindedir. Muhakkak ki, Sen her şeye kâdirsin.And verily Thou art over every thing Potent.
Muhakkak ki Allah çok güçlüdür ve hikmet sahibidir.He is the Mighty, the Wise.
Muhakkak ki Allah kendine dayanıp güvenenleri sever.Verily Allah loveth the trustful.
İki topluluğun karşılaştığı günde başınıza gelen musibet de Allah'ın izniyledir.And that he might know those who played the hypocrite.
Muhakkak sen verdiğin sözden dönmezsin".Verily Thou failest not the tryst.
Muhakkak ki Allah tek bir ilâhtır. O, çocuk sahibi olmaktan yüce (münezzeh)dir.Allah is but the One God: hallowed be He that there should be unto Him a son!
Muhakkak ki insanların çoğu yoldan çıkanlardır.And verily many of the mankind are transgressors.
De ki: "Kör ile gören bir olur mu? Hiç düşünmez misiniz?"Will ye not then consider?
Musa'nın arkasından kavmi, tutmuş süs takılarından böğüren bir buzağı heykeli edinmişlerdi.And ehe people of Musa, after him, took of their trinkets a calf: a body with a low.
