(Şuayb'ın kavmi olan) Medyen halkı da(Şuayb'ı) yalanladılar. Musa da yalanlanmıştı.and the men of Midian; to Moses also they cried lies.
Kavmi ona şöyle demişti: Şımarma! Bil ki Allah şımarıkları sevmez.When his people said to him, 'Do not exult; God loves not those that exult;
Derken, Karun, ihtişamı içinde kavminin karşısına çıktı.So he went forth unto his people in his adornment.
Kavminin (İbrahim'e) cevabı ise: "Onu öldürün yahut yakın!" demelerinden ibaret oldu.But the only answer of his people was that they said, 'Slay him, or burn him!'
Derken şehrin öbür ucundan bir adam koşarak geldi. "Ey kavmim! dedi, bu elçilere uyunuz!"Then came a man from the furthest part of the city, running; he said, 'My people, follow the Envoys!
Ey kavmim! Bugün, yeryüzüne hakim kimseler olarak hükümranlık sizindir.O my people, today the kingdom is yours, who are masters in the land.
Hani bir zamanlar Musa kavmine demişti ki Allah, size bir bakara (sığır) boğazlamanızı emrediyor.And when Moses said to his people, 'God commands you to sacrifice a cow.'
Şüphesiz Allah, zalim kavmi doğru yola iletmez.God guides not the people of the evildoers.
O da batınca dedi ki: "Ey kavmim! Ben sizin (Allah'a) ortak koştuğunuz şeylerden uzağım".But when it set he said, 'O my people, surely I am quit of that you associate.
Nuh dedi ki; "Ey kavmim! Peki şu söyleyeceğime ne diyeceksiniz?He said, 'O my people, what think you?
Allah: "Doğrusu biz senden sonra kavmini imtihan ettik.Said He, 'We have tempted thy people since thou didst leave them.

“Korkma!” dediler. “Çünkü biz aslında Lût kavmini imha etmek için gönderildik.”They said, 'Fear not; we have been sent to the people of Lot.'

Böyledir, çünkü onlar Allah'ı ve Elçisini tanımadılar; Allah, yoldan çıkan kavmi yola iletmez.This, because they disbelieved in Allah and His apostle, and Allah guideth not an ungodly people.
Biz, her elçiyi kendi kavminin diliyle gönderdik ki olara açıklasın.And We sent not an apostle but with the speech of his people that he might expound unto them.
Onlardan önce Nuh'un kavmi de yalanlamıştı.There belied before them the people of Nuh.

Dedi ki: "Ey kavmim, Allah'a ibadet edin, sizin O'ndan başka İlahınız yoktur.He said: O my people! worship Allah; there is no god for you but he.
Kavmi ona doğru koşarak geldi; onlar daha önceden kötülükler işlemekteydiler. "Ey kavmim" dedi.And his people came unto him rushing on toward him, and afore they were wont to work vices.
Biz hiçbir elçiyi, kendi kavminin dilinden başkasıyla göndermedik ki, onlara apaçık anlatsın.And We sent not an apostle but with the speech of his people that he might expound unto them.

İnanmayan, bu söze şaşırıp kalmıştı. Allah zalim kavmi doğru yola sevketmez ki.Thereupon he Who disbelieved Was dumb-founded, And Allah guideth not a wrong-doing people.
Musa'nın kavmi, o gittikten sonra ziynet eşyasından bir buzağı yaptılar. O buzağı, böğürüyordu da.And ehe people of Musa, after him, took of their trinkets a calf: a body with a low.
Semûd kavmine o dişi deveyi açık bir mucize olarak verdik de onunla kendilerine zulmettiler.And We vouchsafed unto Thamud a she-camel as an illumination, but they did her wrong.
Ve Nûh kavmi...And the people of Nuh!

Ey iman edenler! Kendilerine Allah'ın gazap ettiği bir kavmi dost edinmeyin.O ye who believe! befriend not a people against whom Allah is Wroth.
Musa'nın arkasından kavmi, tutmuş süs takılarından böğüren bir buzağı heykeli edinmişlerdi.And ehe people of Musa, after him, took of their trinkets a calf: a body with a low.
Onlar da: "Biz Allah'a güvendik. Ey Rabbimiz, bizi o zalim kavmin fitnesine uğratma!" dediler.So they said: on Allah We rely, our Lord! make us not a trial for the wrong-doing people.
İşte Âd kavmi buydu.And such were 'Aad.
Bilin ki, Âd kavmi, gerçekten Rablerini inkâr ettiler.Lo! verily 'Aad disbelieved in thy Lord.
Biz, her peygamberi, ancak bulunduğu kavminin diliyle gönderdik ki, onlara apaçık anlatsın.And We sent not an apostle but with the speech of his people that he might expound unto them.
Kendisine verilen müjdenin kötülüğünden dolayı kavminden gizlenir.He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed.
Daha önce de Nuh kavmini helak etmiştik.(So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them.
Bundan önce Nuh kavmini de (yıkıma uğrattık).(So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them.
Allah, fasık bir kavmi hidayete erdirmez.And Allah guides not the people who are Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).
Şu da bir gerçek ki Karun, Mûsa kavmindendi.Verily, Qarun (Korah) was of Musa's (Moses) people, but he behaved arrogantly towards them.
Daha önce de Nûh kavmini batırmıştık.(So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them.
Musa kavmine demişti ki: Ey kavmim!And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his people: "O my people!
Andolsun ki Nuh'u elçi olarak kavmine gönderdik.Indeed, We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people and he said: "O my people! Worship Allah!
O dedi ki: "Ey kavmim!He said: "O my people! Worship Allah!
Onlara Nuh'un haberini oku: Hani o kavmine demişti ki: "Ey kavmim!And recite to them the news of Nuh (Noah).
Âd kavmine de kardeşleri Hud'u (gönderdik).And to 'Ad (people We sent) their brother Hud.
Nitekim Semud kavmine, açık bir mucize olmak üzere bir dişi deve vermiştik.And We sent the she-camel to Thamud as a clear sign, but they did her wrong.
Kavmim bu Kur'an'ı büsbütün terkettiler.Verily, my people deserted this Quran (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and orders).
Salih dedi ki: Ey kavmim!He said: "O my people!
Ey kavmim! Nedir bu hal?"And O my people!
Bunlardan önce de Nuh kavmini helak etmiştik.(So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them.
Kendilerine Allah'ın gazap ettiği bir kavmi dost edinmeyin.Take not as friends the people who incurred the Wrath of Allah (i.e. the Jews).
