De ki: Arınmağa gönlün var mı?And say: 'Would you like to grow (in virtue)?
Ne bilirsin belki o arınacak?What made you think that he will not grow in virtue,
Onun arınmamasından sana ne?Though it is not your concern if he should not grow (in fulness).
O ki malını hayra vererek arınır, yücelir.And gives of his wealth that he may grow in virtue,
Peki onlar, Allah'ın dininden başka bir din mi arıyorlar?Do they seek another way than God's?
(Yine bu) Allah'ın, iman edenleri arındırması ve inkar edenleri yok etmesi içindir.This is so that God may try the faithful and destroy the unbelievers.
İşte onlar, Allah'ın kalplerini arıtmak istemedikleridir.These are the people whose hearts God does not wish to purify.

Doğrusu, temizlenip arınan felah bulmuştur;Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness,
Onu arındırıp-temizleyen gerçekten felah bulmuştur.He who nourishes it will surely be successful,
Ki o, malını vererek temizlenip-arınır.And gives of his wealth that he may grow in virtue,

Hâşâ! Allah bundan arınmıştır!Immaculate is He and self-sufficient."
