Tanım
•line (path through two or more points, or figuratively) · line (old Russian unit of length equal to 1/10 of an inch, or 2.54 mm) · a building housing a row of adjacent trading stalls; a cloth hall
Etimoloji
Borrowed from Polish linia or German Linie, from Latin līnea (“line, thread”), from līnum (“flax”), from Proto-Indo-European *līno-. From the same Indo-European root derives лён (ljon, “flax”) (< *lьnъ (“flax”)). The MOBA sense is a mistaken semantic loan from English line, caused by Russian-speaking gamers confusing English lane with the more familiar English term line.
