Tanım
•a French Lolita: a media archetype of a young, coquettish, and innocent‐seeming French female singer or actress, popularized in Japan from the 1960s onward (referring to figures such as France Gall or Vanessa Paradis)
Etimoloji
フレンチ (Furenchi, “French”) + ロリータ (rorīta, “Lolita”). The term and the archetype it describes were significantly influenced by the Japanese reception of the 1959 work Brigitte Bardot and the Lolita Syndrome by Simone de Beauvoir, which analysed Brigitte Bardot as a new type of youthful, transgressive female figure.
