Etimoloji
tattari (“buckwheat, Tatar”) + suo (“swamp”). Possibly in reference to battles during the Russo-Swedish War (1741–1743) (and to supposed Tatars fighting on the Russian side), or to roads used by the Romani (who tattari could also historically refer to).
