/ˈhɑu̯kiˌʋuo̯ri/FINCE → TR
Tanım
•A former municipality in South Savo, Finland; now part of Mikkeli. · A village in the municipality of Mikkeli.
Etimoloji
hauki (“pike (fish)”) + vuori (“mountain”). The reason for the name is not clear, as there are no nearby bodies of water with names containing hauki, and there is no obvious reason for a point of elevation (after which the parish/municipality is named) to be named after a fish.
